why is the republicans voting no on everything? why is americans not realizing that republicans are the ones that put us in the recession so now the same party is saying hey obama cant get us out so vote for us again are they serious? and they putting their chips with sarah palin she an ugly version of a barbie doll she dont know anything about u.s. history and wants to be a president come on .
So if an American does not support Obama they are stupid??
You don't know anything about current events! The republicans may be opposed to the President's socialist agenda, but they don't have the numbers to stop him from passing anything!
It's been Obama's OWN party, the democrats that have stopped health care, and rightly so!
Alright, let's go over some things.
1.) I detest Sarah Palin too. The right way to go about discrediting her isn't to call her an ugly Barbie. That just makes you look ignorant--name calling usually does.
2.) You do need to work on your current events, and government establishment while you're at it. The Democrats have the very large majority right now. If 100% of the Democrats in congress wanted things passed, things would pass, and the Republicans wouldn't be able to do much to stop it.
Am I siding with Republicans? Certainly not. But if you're going to try to make an argument, you should do it right.
I don't understand much about politics, mostly because I don't follow them. However, I DO know that, Democrats outnumber Republicans right now, so if nothing is going through, that means there are quite a few Republicans AND Democrats voting against it.
Calling Sarah Palin an ugly Barbie doll, by the way, may be a great argument if you're trying to convince some third graders, but it discredits your opinion to most adults.
Furthermore, don't blame politicians for the recession we're currently in. Yes, they made a big impact on how the economy has changed, but so did normal American citizens.
ok sorry about the barbie comment but the democrats cant pass anything ca the republicans will filibuster anything forcing dems to get 60 votes which they dont have in the senate after they lost the ted kennedy seat .
funny how when things go bad it's the Republicans fault. When things are going well it's the Republican's fault they aren't going better. When absolutely nothing's getting done it's the Republican's fault. The Democrats have controlled the House and Senate since 2007. They've had a super majority in each since Obama was elected. He doesn't need a single Republican to do anything. He has to blame someone just has he has his whole life. He's a child in a mans body. A spoiled brat pointing the finger at everyone else.
im not saying if you dont support obama your not american im not like the bush administration did during their time in office

I have been confused as to exactly how to handle a Biden presidency. I consider him a babbling old fool who got rich selling out the United States and his vice president as a female who is a socialist/communist and had to sleep her way into a career. My opinion of both is extremely...

Democrats can't do crap. They're too busy arguing amongst themselves to actually get anything done, even when they had a "super majority".Republicans won't agree with anything Obama says. They are trying so hard to make it seem like Obama is failing they can't see through the...

Alaska set to release thousands of Sarah Palin emails"The messages date from Palin's first days in office in December 2006 through September 2008a period that covers most of the presidential election, but not her time as McCain's running mate. This release of correspondence also does not...

Democrats have the votes to raise the debt ceiling with a straight up and down vote. The GOP chose to filibuster the ability to raise it. This is not about future spending, this is about paying for the debts already incurred, including the $7.8 trillion added while they had control of...

The first thing to consider is that our mainstream media is no longer free or independent. Decades ago (in the 70s) there were hundreds of individual outlets none beholden to the other. Today there are but five 'institutions' that control everything you see or read in MSM News.In...
