Certainly,we as a nation have entered into an area of socialism that there may be no return from; are we then following the statement above, credited to Karl Marx? It follows that socialism is the only road to Marxism, a totalitarian rule. Would you agree?
Every civilization follows the following progression:
1.From bondage to spiritual faith
2.From spiritual faith to great courage
3.From courage to liberty
4.From liberty to abundance
5.From abundance to complacency
6.From complacency to apathy
7.From apathy to dependence
8.From dependency back into bondage.
I believe we as a nation, with the election of Obama are at step 7. How long will it take to get to step 8 is unknown, but to deny this is occurring is at best foolish and at worst ignorant.
tell me more about this bondage phase please
Socialism is an ideology that fails 100% of the time, simply because it suppresses any individual rights or freedoms.
Democracy isn't the only road to socialism. Both are altruistic ideologies, both as dangerous to America's way of life.
The Republic Union of Citizenry and Government is based on Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Socialism defeats Liberty.
Socialism destroys Life.
Socialism degrades the Pursuit of Happiness.
Socialism and Democracy are both misconceptions, based on faulty ideologies.
Just my thoughts on the subject.

Democrats expect people to pull together to help one another in a collective way. They do not realize this system removes a certain amount of individual freedom through raising taxes. Republicans want to empower the individual by keeping taxes low. They believe individuals, (through the self-effort...

Certainly the American flag does not stand for socialism, nor does it stand for the Marxist principles advanced by the United Natiions; principles that this government endorsed by its participation in the creation of the United Nations. The Human Rights of the UN have replaced the Bill of Rights....

What is the big deal about socialism? Can someone explain to me why Americans (USA) typically say "socialist" in a negative way. I've been doing some research and many of these "socialist" societies are quite happy AND well provided for. So what is the big deal? Why are so many...

Rarely do I get involved with Politics -especially American. However, recently, I came across several photos depicted the US President with the likeness of one A. Hitler. I really do not see the comparison. Good and close friends of mine fled völkisch nationalism and can tell you first hand,...
