Sub-title: At Palin Event, Conservative Women Touted as 'SMARTER (?) Than You' and 'Hotter than You'

"SMARTER"? How can this be when Palin CAN'T DISTINGUISH THE VOICE OF A FOREIGN LEADER FROM A CLEVER IMPOSTER? THIS IS A JOKE

In her defense many pranks like the one you're speaking of have been done to many leaders successfully.

Since leaving office at the end of July 2009, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee has brought in at least 100 times her old salary, a haul now estimated at more than $12 million -- through television and book deals and a heavy schedule of speaking appearances worth five and six figures. That conservative estimate is based on publicly available records and news accounts. The actual number is probably much higher, but is hard to quantify because Palin does not publicize her earnings. She reputedly got a $7 million deal for her first book, with the bulk of that money due after her resignation as governor, and will earn about $250,000 per episode, according to the web site The Daily Beast, for each of eight episodes of a reality show about Alaska for the The Learning Channel. She has managed to keep a lid on reliable figures for her earnings from a multi-year contract with Fox News and a second book deal with HarperCollins.

A single speaking appearance earns Palin at least $100,000.

      GOD BLESS AMERICA

Were else can you put your country down, call your president a socialist on the world stage and get away with it,  thanks to "Freedom of Speech", you know from the Constitution. Then she creates hate and fear in middle class America and to top it all off make millions of dollars selling her lies, everytime I hear her speak, I can only think of one thing, Edith Bunker and that famous tune she always sang at the beginning of the show "Those were the Days" , love that voice.

They weren't Palin's words, and I doubt she would have said yeah go ahead and say something that sounds silly. It's sad that someone thought it worthy of writing an article about.

Now Pelosi, we know from years and years of her being in the public eye, that she adores media attention, and no one needs to put words in her mouth, she is quite pretty and smart, and as reflected by her labeling of Tea Party folks as 'Nazis' - she is not terribly observant at times.

Too bad sexism has to become part of the political conversation, but that's life, humans will be humans, and Obama certainly got lots of miles out of his looks, as did Clinton and many other male politicians over the years, Dems and Republicans.  Nobody tried to trash them over it.

I'm not real sure Pelosi is smart, rich and connected, but not the sharpest tool in the shed. Pretty, eh, nahhhhhhhhhhh!

The fact that TK thinks she's not too bright is pretty strong evidence that she is.

Keep on singin' that song,TK. I want any normal person who wanders out to this post to be able to recognize the radical pile of crap you and your teagagging buddies are selling. If I could I would put you on TV as a representative for the teabaggin' parade of fruits and nuts.

              Whatever you say.

"Democracy," strictly defined, refers to the method of government wherein the members of the group vote directly on all matters of legislation. "Republic" comes from the Latin 'res publica', and refers only to the nature of the government, 'a thing of the people'

              Not a Democracy!

              Thanks for playing.

You don't offer any source for your definition.

I am also curious what countries qualify as 'democracies' by your definition? It would seem to me thare is not a single democracy on the planet -nor has there ever been - by your definition.

She is a smart woman.  She is also a grand manipulator, and one day we'll all find out just what dirt she used to get her way.  Unbelievable, that that anti-abortion worm, not worth remembering his name, is now taking a quiet walk away.  Wonder how many more will take a walk.

She never called tea-baggers Nazis. She said they had SIGNS with swastikas on them calling Obama a Nazi.
FOX news twisted it around and said she called them Nazis.
In other words, they did what they do so well....lie. Distort. Confuse.  Stir the Cauldron of Hate from which they drink.

And all you koolaide drinkers sip it right up!
      anti-abortion worm? my my....hateful!

Notice who was NOT there for the Boston Rally..

Scott Brown. He declined an invitation but sent a note saying he was too busy. Congress is on break and he's available, but the new Senator from Mass. seems to be distancing himself from the Tea Party Movement.

Yes--he's busy doing his job...not pushing hate and division.
He would never imply that Obama was un-American. He has too much class for that...unlike Ms Palin. She has 0 class.
