   i want anyone who reads this to tell me a time when they were bullied and felt like they couldn't tell or they would be bullied even more.

      oh boy. story of my school years. Once, I did tell and it DID get worse. I hope things are better for kids now....

      Hmmm i think being bullied is something everyone goes through. The ones who are bullied are usually the ones that have their idea & have amazing talents.
      
      The bullying through the years gets worse. I know a friend who got bullied because she was bisexual and was dating a girl. She broke up with the girl because she couldn't handle the criticism anymore & even after they wouldn't stop. She ended up committing suicide because no body could get them to stop. A life was lost because of bullying & that's not right at all.

         I agree Boston, I lost a good friend because she was lesbian and the other girls would not leave her alone, but the weird thing is the bully committed suicide too because she secretly loved my friend and the guilt of what she had done must have pushed her over the age. two tragedies that could have been avoided

      Bullying Is Much More Important Then People are willing to admit.  It can change a child's personallity and it can effect people for Life.  Yes I was bullied but I was raised in a family that just didn't sit back and take it.  My being bullied didn't last long when others found out I would catch up with you when you weren't around your buddies and then find out how tough you really were- most were as tough as they thought when we met up.
      
      To accept bullying as if is just a thing kids have to go through is a big mistake, we ignored college hazying only to find out the hell these kids were being put through took years before we too it seriously and stepped in to stop it,, the same thing needs to happen with bullying.

   Bullied, demeaned, demoralized on the job by a dogmatic boss for 9 yrs. Sucked. He was reported to corporate after I left. After a lengthy investigation, he's still there.
   
   Bullied by so-called friends in Jr High. It's a shame some people don't grow up.
   
   Bullied by the bow-legged kid who kicked me between the legs in school. GRRRRRR!!!

   Never really bullied in middle school or high school, but in 1st grade maybe, two girls looked under the bathroom stall and laughed at me while I was peeing. I remember it years later.

   I was bullied as a child of around ten until I was cornered by my bully on my way home from the park.  I had just got done playing baseball with some friends when he chased me down and cornered me.
   
   After pummelling him with my baseball bat a few times the bullying stopped.
   
   On the downside that was the beginning of anger management counseling.

         There was no determination of offense or defense.  The only thing anyone cared about was a ten year old putting a fifteen year old in the hospital.  The police were not involved just my mom and his mom.

   I was bullied terribly at school and even when i went to work my gender made me a target and a label for others to use against me, my superiors in my job done it for ages "let the gay guy do it" I was only 18 at the time and very naive and was so afraid of losing my job as the last person who stood up to them was fired.
   eventually i got a better job and left but for 2 years i had this in the work place, im not the only one though my best friend sue got it too because she was lesbian they were just evil..

   There was girl in our school who was a bully - she used to go around battering everyone and I was scared of her too. One day she battered me in the playground and I just let her, because I was too scared to fight back.
   However, one day a while after that, she tried to do it again and I just thought to myself, what have I got to lose?
   And when I fought back, I battered her easily and she never laid a finger on me again - funnily enough, neither did anyone else!
   That was many years ago however. Nowadays I'd die if anyone tried to hit me as I couldn't even run away (I've got a broken back I sustained during a fall a few years ago).

      I always leave a note for the burglar if he tries to break in and it says .

   I'm hopeless with languages. I've been living in Spain 7 years and am still not fluent. Not just living in Spain, my b/f is Spanish with NO English and we've been living together for 5 years. How on Earth am I not fluent in the language? lol

      Its strange but my father was dutch and well we were living in holland till i was 4 and you understand the continental way especially as dutch is like a mixture of french,german and english lol
      
      Im bad most languages lol but theses stook, I got told though you can never be fluent in any language as its constantly changing lol

            A little. But I only ever hear him speaking it if we're in Englsih company. He refuses to speak it in the house. And of course, he doesn't understand a word I say in English because I have a Scottish accent!

                              Wright? Doesn't ring a bell sorry. There are a lot of people with the same surnames on Mull, but Wright wasn't one of the ones I had in mind.
                              I don't think our mob is from the Glencoe clan. I think they came from Ireland to Skye...my mother traced the family tree back to Somerled but I've forgotten the details.
                              Anyway, shouldn't we be getting back to bullying? hey how about, my clan is better than your clan. So there.
