    Hey there,

Just wanted to remind everyone of why 9/11 happened.

The CIA calls it "blowback" - when a country's military operation leads to further hatred of that country by the victims.

I would also like to remind everyone that Congress is the branch of the Federal Government that declares war, and that neither the Afghanistan War nor the Iraq War are actually wars.

I would also like to point out that Obama received a Nobel PEACE prize, yet both of the 'wars' have yet to end under his so-far 18 month presidency.

And, I would like to point out, finally, that Obama IS expanding the war, and this expansion is leading to blowback.

Here's an article about our bombing Pakistan.

    http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSSGE67M0M6

    7 civilians dead.

    I'd love to hear comments.

I also disagree with Obama being given a peace prize.

However I think it is important to remember who started all this turmoil, and also that now people are trying to fix the problem.

He didn't inherit the problem but he didn't have the balls to fix it.  If he had withdrawn our troops from Afghanistan, he would have been called a weak on defense liberal that cost American lives, made us vulnerable to terrorists, made us seem weak to our enemies and friends, a civilian that didn't let the military win, etc.  But he was going to be accused of that anyway.  Might as well have shown some balls.

Yep, I'm right there with you. In fact, after all his campaign rhetoric without following through, he in fact does look weak. Keep in mind, I'M NO FAN of OBAMA, but the deck was stacked against him here. Bush couldn't do much either. Bottom line is that when your pretense for war is flimsy, your prosecution of the war tends to be restricted.....

Regardless of what Obama has done about the war(s):

I don't feel Obama has done anything that would push him AWAY from getting the Nobel Peace Prize.

That being said, I don't feel he has done anything to DESERVE the Nobel Peace Prize in the FIRST PLACE.

It's his cult power, is what it is.

Oh, please, let me explain - I hate Bush just as much (if not more) than Obama.

I'm not affiliated with, nor do I agree with, either party almost 90% of the time!!!

I would appreciate my arguments not being taken as "Grr, Republicans are awesome, Democrats are teh suck!"

... good cartoon though! I agree

I don't always agree with you Evan, but you and I are at one on this particular issue.  When I heard that Obama was going to get the Nobel Peace Prize, my reaction was "WTF??!!"
