Imagine yourself as a liberal and create a new policy that the U.S. should put into effect.

I want all illegal immigrants to be paid $50 an hour.

If you make more than $1Billion per year then you have to buy 100 FHA/HUD homes for the homeless.

If you are an entertainer Musician/Actor/Author etc, you should be given unlimited funds to promote your latest cause.

  I too am a veteran, and spend a lot of time with veterans and current members of the military.
  
  I don't know a single one who is happy with this current administration.
  
  Writing a story of how you switched from one party to another and why is interesting but it can't be taken as the be all and end all.
  
  Its a story of how someone became disillusioned and went another direction.
  
  Ronald Reagan did the same thing.
  
  By the way, that is not a story of a conservative becoming a liberal it is a story of a republican becoming a democrat.
  
  Republicans=what democrats were 30 years ago.
  
  Democrats=what communists were 30 years ago.

  All conservative Candidates for Office are to be pre-vetted and vetted and vetted again, even DURING their term in Office if they make it that far. While, of course, all liberal Candidates' names immediately skip that process and are put into a big bowl to draw one which becomes Emperor of the World.
  That would make liberals so happy!

Let's just get it over with and start a war with everybody.

Let's have no taxes and make the needy beg on the streets.

Let's deport everyone whose family didn't come here at least 150 years ago.

  Well now, don't know if this is so much a liberal idea, mostly conservatives have been mentioning it, in favor of it for many reasons. National sales tax. GOODBYE IRS. That saves a bundle by itself, eliminates tax filings, another fortune in savings, and provides less opportunity for tax cheats and those who simply ignore taxes altogether.

I don't have any liberal ideas but I'm sincerely curious to learn from a self admitted liberal Democrat. I continue to see arguments back and forth but don't ever honestly see anyone stating what liberal Democratic ideals are. Can someone enlighten me, please? What do you stand for? Specifically.

  A more detailed analysis of the data reveals that if you control for religiousness, then the amount of giving among liberals and conservatives is indistinguishable. The author discusses this in his book, but of course that part usually doesn't get mentioned.
  
  Oh, and I haven't heard anyone say they want Jim Hunter to give every dime he makes to the government. It's not all about you, Jim.

Airline travel must be cheaper in the Northern Hemisphere(or should be) as the fuel is cheaper and definately supports the role of human resources being regularly rotated.

At the moment its only politicians who get the huge discounts and we all know how much work they really do!

My proposal is called the "Work to Welfare" program.
It's premise is simple: Those people who are unfortunate to still have paying jobs would be retrained in how to stop working for a living and stay home, make babies, and collect welfare forever!
