What did US Govt do GOOD for the countries of the world?

From my personal view, only debt, revolts, poverty, amorality, corruption, puppets-dictators and wars are from US govt to the world. No democracy, no peace, no development from US. Do you think the same or opposite?

  USGovt knows better whom these money give to and what do they do with these money. As amount of money country receiving from US is growing, the country become poorer and USGovt offers them even more money. Interestingly, those who refuse to take US money are usually "dismissed" by revolts or wars. And dont say me those revolts are "democratic".

  The exact opposite! It's the ungrateful attitude in the rest of the world that really turnes me off and makes me wish America would just end all relations with foreign countries. Let's stop sending money, technology, etc. Let's stop immigration, stop educating foreigners and supporting and subsidizing them. Let's stop protecting foreing interests, helping to settle their disputes. We don't need the rest of the world let them fend for themselves, let them fight their own wars! Good luck!

  The freedom of speech gives the individual the right to decide what degree is good. There are also legal repercussions in the U.S. for immoral speech against other people such as defamation of character. You have just as much right not to listen or watch the pornography. The point is we have a right to choice covered by the first amendment, not someone telling us.

  You get me right. Financial "help" turned into money dependency. In is not money, after all, which brings hapiness. If they want to help, so open firms, employ people, and so on. I understand, it is easier to print debt than to really help people. Those who always get money will never be strong. Is that what US wants?

  Okay, it is obvious to me that you have very little idea about what is going on in the U.S.
  3/4 of what used to be US jobs have been outsourced. On top of that we have undocumented workers here taking up positions that are already to far and few for our own citizens.
  We are suffering from record numbers in both unemployment and welfare. Our economy is in the crapper right along with everyone else. Exactly what more do you think we should be doing.

  Our government is undoubtedly flawed but, your OP questioned all of the U.S. not just our federal government. Most of the citizens of the U.S.A. will rally in vehement defense of our Country when approached in this manner. I believe it may have been better if you had asked "Do you agree with US foreign Policy?" or "Do you think the US government is to involved in other nations politics?"

1. Had a leading role in destroying the Nazi tyranny that took over Europe

2. Had a leading role in preventing the spread of Stalinism across Europe follow WW2.. putting both American money and lives on the line

3. Saved Asia from General Tojo and the rest of his fascist war lords

4. Helped rebuild Japan into an economic power house

5. Helped to prevent South Korea from falling under the grip of a little despot and his half pint son

  The US has not declared war since the attack at Pearl Harbor in 1942. Vietnam, Korea, and all the rest have been "United Nations Police Actions." We were not and are not the only nation involved in these conflicts. Why are you only trashing the US?

  Simply put you haven't a clue about what you are talking about. The WMD in Iraq may have been intolerable to both Bush Sr. and Jr. but neither Bush put them there.
  We are doing now what should have been done the first time around in that country and by we I mean the collaborative armies of the UN.

  We saved Europe's butt, not once but twice. We rebuilt cities and nations devastated by wars of their own construction. We have reached out to other nations when they have been hit by storm and earthquake, sending in first, second and third responders when needed. Food, medicine, experts. Though there are many reasons to disparage US policies, there are also many reasons to thank this nation.

  1st. Went to Afghanistan for US...not for them! 2nd, went to Iraq to relieve G. Bush's unvented pressure extending from his genitals. They would also have been experiencing a major rebuilding effort, had the internal strife, which yes, the US is responsible for, not wearied the American people to the point that an end was all we wanted. Most of us, regardless of what some may think, were against this invasion from day one, so in reality, it is not the US which is at fault, It is George Bush. The buck still syops there.

  Buddy, you have been the victim of the oldest magician's trick in the book. Misdirection. What do tou think the WTO is? Why do you think all these trade agreements are being ratified. Why does it always appear that the US is at odds w/ the UN, when that is hardly the case. There are many things happening which leads to a world-wide police state, and the US has been struggling for decades not to fall victim to it, and the fact of the matter is this, that the main reason the US is hated is because of our defense of Israel, which means that the muslim world bows, not to Jerusalem, but to Mecca. Pretty crappy reason to hold a gun to the world's head...which direction one must bow.

  They would pray to Jerusalem, for it is from the Dome Of The Rock where Muhammad ascended to heaven. It is the holiest place in Islam. Jerusalem, being in the hands of Israel, defiles it, therefore, the adherents of Islam pray to Mecca, the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad. So, it is not that we support Israel that this is done, but Israel is hated for their "occupation" of the site, which is the holiest place in all the world to the Israelis and Christians, and we are hated because we back them.

  Bad question to ask me. I see the formation of Israel in 1946 as a landgrab made possible by the success of the Allied nations after the defeat of Nazi Germany. The Hebrews coming out of Europe (Can't really blame them) needed a place to be. Great Britain, the U.S. and other allies didn't want a flood of any refugees, so, they took them back to where they were from. Unfortunately, someone already lived there. Then, it was all called PALESTINE. Keep in mind, it was also called Palestine during Roman times when most of the Hebrews really did live there.

  I'm not sure I accept that an expert in Wordpress blog builder is serious about these inane ideas he/she promotes. Sounds more like blog building to me.

  Well and clearly said Sab Oh. There are many "Evil" governments in this world, the USA......well, right now, who knows, for sure the current "LEADERS" are sort of narrow minded and rich and ungrateful to America ...... oh, I forgot, Obama told Latinos if they didn't vote they were helping their enemies -- so maybe the US gov't IS approaching an 'evil' position, IMO, but for certain, there has never been a time in US history that we were considered 'evil' before now -- until now -- yet immigrants, legal and illegal, flock to the USA -- ouch, it just gives me such a headache!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  The election has been a well timed Ecotrin washed down with my own spring water.........Perhaps there are now more Congressmen who can coherently convey the good the US had accomplished for the countries of this continent and around the world. Too bad so many Americans were shot down in Juarez, Mexico this past week, wonder why, are we too nice, too politically correct, too open to other nations in this day and time of the 21st century?? I think perhaps so.

  Habee, That was so wonderful, what a great link, and I am so thrilled (ya gotta wonder how many here even know who he is) to know that you are a Randy Newman fan, he is great, my husband intro'd me to him 20 years ago, and he is so there for so long, kind of under the radar for so many.....let's Drop the Big One Now .

  For sure, when I hear sound tracks on movies that I'm thinking are him, I sit and wait just like in a movie theatre for all the credits to run to see for myself, I don't have the best ear, and his music has run through the years in a very good way. Short People--yikes, yes, but I can't say I think many really know who he is, what all he has done, my Mike does and can talk at length about him, anyway, a good reference for this truly silly topic of ill intent.

Looks like rakuba no longer exists, per HP. His 1 hub has been taken down, his 11 days with HP are over and all that's left is his inflammatory rhetoric. Curious.
