It’s  time to re evaluate the pros and cons of energy and products.

Sand the most accessible material on the surface on earth, In our concrete jungle we live in, is mostly made of sand, Glass , About 1% of the sand on earth can solar power and give all the planet power in our lifetime

Cannabis or hemp  is the most important plant on earth, giving us food, the oldest medicines, clothing, fuel and building materials oil and energy and no one has ever died directly related to cannabis.

Cannabis is the largest cash crop in the World today. Our arrogance has refuse the cannabis plant and make it illegal in every country in the world

Remove its ability to disrupt the functioning of the human nervous system and what is left?  Is it anywhere near as useful as you post would imply?

What delicious and nutritious food is made from it?  What useful medicine can we buy at the drugstore that comes from it?  I don't think I've ever seen a cannabis shirt - how is it used in clothing?  While it can be burned I cannot see it being used anywhere to produce energy.  Certainly my car won't run on it - who is using it for an energy source?.  While you might make a rope treehouse, how else is it used in buildings?

You've made claims here that, in my ignorance, I find startling and unusual.  Can you back them up?  Or is a matter of you could use cannabis to make a coarse thread that could be woven into a shirt that no one would wear?  Or perhaps you can get "medicines" that people that like to get high will swear by but no one else will use.

Interesting, although I note that 95% of that grown (legally) in Europe is used for animal feed, not energy, clothing, building materials, etc.

I also note that (legal) cash crops are of a variety that does not contain "useful" amounts of THC - those that do are pretty much worthless for other uses.  I don't get the feeling that the OP is interested in growing hemp without THC.

        * 16% of all fuel produced in Holland is from hemp. That is a lot of fuel! smile

        * THC has it's own neural pathway in the body.

        * Delta 9 and delta 21 have amazing properties in medicine, it increases appetite and reduces CNS pain.

        * Hemp fiber can be used to make car bodies and clothing.

wildernessposted 11 years agoin reply to this

I caught that about car bodies and clothing in the wikipedia link above.  Although I would have assumed that hemp fiber could be woven, I had no idea it could make good clothing or auto panels.

I do have to wonder, though, why it is not a real cash crop in America and other developed countries?  It is legal to grow the industrial version and according to the wiki article that is the one most useful.  Is it not economic?  Do we simply not have the infrastructure and industry in place to use large quantities yet?  Is it political?

          1. earnestshub profile image85
earnestshubposted 11 years agoin reply to this

            It is political.

There are no problems with growing hemp.
Hemp doesn't even need good soil to grow, can be grown year after year in the same soil, produces an amazingly large plant that takes up  a tiny amount of space.

If you read up on it you will be disgusted by the reasoning behind it being banned. smile

No one has debated or challenge the solar panels as of yet. It would not be worth it on the wet, North west coast, as of right now today.  Yet in Sunny areas it would pay back in a few years.  China will be soon the number one producer in the world, and it's growing very fast along with balancing it with wind power

Hemp, if developed like all other important crops like corn or rice would produce many varied benefits.  I don't understand the irrational fear of hemp.  The use of hemp as a recreational drug is standing in the way of discovering other more valuable uses.  Perhaps a in depth and well financed plant husbandry and hybridization program would eliminate the use of hemp as an intoxicant there by removing the only real objection to its cultivation.

It is almost bullet proof already in Holland and the hemp plants are enormous.
Marijuana was the excuse used by huge cotton interests to eliminate the competition from hemp, which is better in almost every application.

Any interest in actual experience of marijuana?

I have 3 beautiful hemp shirts and 2 pair of trousers made from hemp.
There are several THC based medicines available on prescription, hemp is the best source of fuel known to man as it can be regrown without soil degradation and returns a better per acre crop than other sources. It is also one of the few pain killers that works on CNS pain.
Apart from all the lies told about it's dangers, no person has died from an overdose, and one study that was designed to prove it's dangers found it to be not as dangerous as milk!

I hurt my spine more than 30 years ago, and have used it daily since to allow me to live a normal life.

I am in great health and have a higher than average IQ, no long term memory loss, never been in jail, ran businesses for 30 years while smoking daily, have no convictions of any type other than a few traffic fines.
So far 4 doctors have agreed I am on the best medicine for my problem.

The better quality of more recent marijuana has meant I get my pain relief with less usage than before.

Sorry for rushing this together and taking off for 10 hours

No challenges about sand and water, it’s always about Reefer Madness

There are between 25.000 to 50,000 forms of products or energy claims. that have been made from cannabis, Cannabis is so illegal to the point of death penalties in a few countries.  It’s VERY difficult to have a firsthand experience and experiments with it  I have researched sand and water for 36 years and sometimes get crush over that. Federal cannabis  busts and wars that ruin families lives. Makes it also against the Global public for 74 years and  is against the law on nature,

earnestshub Did not know cannabis is less dangerous than milk. Or about the16% of all fuel produced in Holland is from hemp OR about your spine. Your brain seems to connect well with your spine, where most people do not have a clue how it’s connected.

Holland has special tractors designed to harvest hemp and it is quick and efficient.

As THC has it's own neural pathway, it crosses the BBB readily and causes the uptake of dopamine which affects the synapses.
It is also psycho active in other ways that can increase brain activity.

Some people may think I am a narcotic agent because I get high very easy and can't get things done smoking it more than twice a week. Others have more energy than me smoking it all the time. It does help me a lot in creative thinking and much healthier than Alcohol. Cigarette kill more people than all narcotic combined, banned it, if they must ban something.

Canada is the number one cannabis smoking nation in the world with 40% of it is grown here in BC. I'm getting my hemp license because I don't have a criminal record and will grow it for construction materials and food purpose mainly. I hear cow’s milk is not that healthy, it may be a good selling point because  nobody hears the cries of the screaming cannabis also.

Pasteurized milk is very hard on human digestive system. Better avoid it and do not give it to your kids! You'll have less digestive, allergic and "cold"/respiratory problems. if you cannot drink it raw - do not drink it at all or sometimes, only if you need it for a recipe. Nothing but a collected filtered boiled white piss. We are duped into drinking it because it is a big industry, big money changing hands. Marijuana? H-m-m, never tried, but never smoked a cigarette in my life either. Cannot stand the skunk smell of it. My son smokes it every occasion. Helps him to fight panic attacks(his claim). I know natives in Canada smoke it a lot. And I do not think they bother with legality of it. I personally think if it is not killing you, why should it be illegal? If it helps you - use it, darn it, it's your health you should know better yourself.

A few well known doctors stress that milk is not healthy, too. Dam, I love the taste of it, too, and I scream for ice cream, I better quit because health is number one

Some times I get a slight panic attack too, trying to take on the big Boys as an artist. Just a few tokes and it's an amazing escape from the heavy stresses in life, like an instant happy pill, and then I go back to normal with no hang over.

Ice cream? What ice cream? Most of the times they sell artificial crap masked with lots of sugar. Real ice cream is too expensive to make and sell, crap they sell by buckets, at least in Canada! You eat it, - next day you'll be sick with something for sure.

I grew up on full cream raw milk, and when we had ice cream it was real as well and homemade.

I drank sweet water full of minerals than ran fast over sand beds at the head of the river and ate butter we had churned ourselves.

I have been a big city person most of my adult life, yet still don't like the taste of city water, pasturised milk or ice cream from the supermarket. smile

2 great ways to have raw milk. Straight out of the cow warm in winter, and at the cooler before it hits the vat in summer. smile

My concern is: media still relentlessly pushes pasteurized milk and commercial juices into throats of our children and ours too. They are still shamesly saying that it is so good for you and it is not! It is in better case useless as all those sweet yogurts, strange looking cheeses made from the same pasteurized milk. Kids drink it, eat it and then we have to deal with multiple diseases our grandmothers never heard about! Isn't it nice! Long live civilisation and its accomplishments. We could remove all preservatives from food industry and replace it with jalapeno pepper, but no - we need our chemical industry even if it slowly killing us. Marijuana? Forget it. We need our cancer patients and lung transplants. Lots of pharmaceutical plants are pumping right now tons of  chemicals for you to consume. They will catch up with you, don't worry. As soon as you'll become older and weaker, they will "serve" you all right. They will drain your last pennies and will feed on your fear to be helpless without them.
Earnest, you were lucky, you have to remember that. Normally people do not have anymore raw milk and raw butter and products made from it. Butter is bad for you?! I hear it all the time in Canada. Who said so? The way it is prepared is bad for you. Make it raw with raw milk and cream and consume it as much as you like! Just do not add sugar or any other crap to it.
My dad used to like milk very much. He grew up on a farm, they drank fresh milk from a cow all the time and he loved it. But then he moved to a city, but he still would come to his parents to help them and to drink that milk. But then his parents died.
He did not have fresh milk anymore, he switched to store bought pasteurized product. He drank it a lot. He did not like that milk but had no choice. In 10 years he had cancer - lymphoma. He is dead now. I am lucky I did not see him dying, it was not pretty.
