Do newspapers, celebrities or other like minded politicians have an effect on you eventual vote?
The only time an endorsement does not matter is when it's for Ron Paul.
Tom Davis amazingly endorsed Ron Paul. This was after Santorum had said both 1) Ron Paul wasn't a conservative, and 2) that Tom Davis is a very conservative congressman.
... translation: Santorum sucks and Ron Paul rocks.
But news of this was only reported by the Ron Paul Fan Network-System.
Here's an endorsement today that probably won't help Ron Paul's candidacy:
1-17-12"The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell" Reports that the "Pimps and Prostitutes Coalition" is endorsing Ron Paul for President
As if Stephen Colbert's SuperPac doesn't provide enough humor to the current shootout for the Republican nomination, Lawrence O'Donnell reported tonight that the Pimps and Prostitutes Coalition has endorsed Ron Paul for the nomination. Dennis Hof, proprietor of the Midnight Bunny Ranch in Nevada, who appeared with two of his "bunnies" on O'Donnell's show said "We're pimpin' for Paul." Cami Parker, former Hustler centerfold, and Caressa Kisses said they believe Paul will do a wonderful job for the country because he supports states rights for prostitution and because he "wants to keep the Internet free."
Apparently endorsements (or Forums about them) do not matter in this venue....

Do you think there's still a chance that someone other than Romney or Gingrich will emerge and become the Republican nominee. Both Romney and Gingrich both have good, but not spectacular levels of support, and there is a sense that neither one of them quite fits the bill, in terms of what the party...

Head to head in Virginia looses to Romney....and the rest of the results are distant back of the pack, so when does he admit he will not be the nominee and go back to Texas...or will he?
