Those of us on the left can already see this vacuous politician proposing nothing new at all. Simply cutting taxes for the rich, and destroying the social safety net are ideas the Tea Party endorses. However, what is upsetting is how the mainstream media (not commentators) have treated him as some kind of bipartisan, serious thinker.

It's also hilarious he recently backed away from Ayn Rand after the Catholic Bishops criticized his plan, even after he said he wanted all interns who worked for him to read it!
The Atlas society, which are followers of Ayn Rand, have released a statement saying Ryan's budget is in line with Rand's philosophy.
They also released audio of him praising her. As much as he may try to engage in Doublespeak, the hypocrite cannot escape.
