Some fictional characters are so real, so close to us as the reader that it is inevitable that we may fall in love and dream of spending time with them. Have you ever had this experience? If so what was the character - could be from a book, a film or any creative endeavour.

Ha.. ha.. that is true - the character perhaps had way better charisma than his real self!
I remember reading it at school when some of my female friends were raving about the book- great story and characterisation. I can see how Father Ralph is so 'crush'worthy. Women like tormented yet magnanimous souls .. I think :-)
Paula- I confess to some man-love to 'Joe Black' too. He looked so perfect in that movie and his demeanor was ever so innocent and charming ( even though he was death himself!)
hmmm....valid point, Docmo.....but I tell you what, honey....."DEATH" NEVER LOOKED SO INVITING TO ME!
I agree completely. By serendipity I watch that movie a couple of nights ago, and loved it, not only for the beauty of Brad Pitt but also for that of Claire Forlani. i think it was Pitt's ingenuousness that was so captivating,,, and that hair.
The character Harrison Davies in Tru Calling was played by Shawn Reaves - he has cropped up in other TV series since like Sanctuary and Law and Order SVI
Holy smokes, Batman!
I am sure Marty McFly had many falling in love- he was too adorable. Not nonsense at all. I can't get over Michelle Pfeiffer as cat woman. Phew.
I can definitely relate to that...
' I wouldn't kick you out of bed for eating crackers' sounds like the start of a beautiful relationship...;-)

I think it is his naive wish to do good without realising the consequences - that and his singing voice. Good choice. Not strange at all (to me at least - I liked Sally's soulful eyes and kind heart even though bits of her were falling off)
