A Love story to complete.....

   I thought it would be fun to start this love story and would like you to chime in and write what you think comes next.
   This girl I know went to a metaphysical fair and had a reading by 2 different psychics and the both said  similar things. They said that this girl (lets call her Nancy),would meet this older gentleman who had lost his wife recently. Nancy would meet this gentleman 1 and a half to 2 yrs. after her long distance move.
   Recently she received an e-mail from one of the psychics saying that she wanted her to get excited about this gentleman that he was wonderful and kind and would love her very much. This past weekend she received a Helzberg Diamond catalog with all wedding and engagement rings, she also saw a young bride right before she was going to get married and a notebook by the foot of her bed that was open to old quotes saying follow your bliss and fall head over heels with the man you love etc.... and Nancy didn't know what to think of all this. Was this just a coincidence or is something brewing towards her falling in love ???She found it odd all these wedding like things showing up. Were they signs that what the psychic's said were true? Would she truly find love?
   (Please continue what you think will happen for Nancy. Will she fall in love or will her heart be broken yet again? Thank you for continuing your version of how you think this story ends.)

      MoneyFairy - your ending comes a little too soon.  How about this:
      Through the psychics, Nancy meets the widower.  They date awhile, and he is a generous gentleman.  However, something is not quite right...
      Meanwhile, she's being pursued by someone younger than she is.  She blows him off because, among other reasons, he's not her type.
      As time goes on, she discoverers why the older man is widowed.  He had murdered his wife.  When she confronts him with the information, he traps her in his mansion.
      The younger man, through a long and complicated process, finds out and rescues her, and scolds her for trusting in psychics.  She winds up marrying him and living happily ever after, discovering he really is her type after all.
      At least it's a happy ending!

            Ok.. let's see...
            
            Nancy never fancied herself the mystical type. She never even read her fortune after a Chinese meal so why had she felt so desperate as to deliberate on these turban clad women with their crystal balls and their bad accents? One thing was for sure... this man was... he was somethin'. She couldn't get him out of her mind. As her new boss, he was a bit intimidating, but something about him seemed vulnerable. Maybe the loss of his wife? Death shakes us... maybe that's what it was... he was shaken. She found herself daydreaming while he talked. He was decisive and authoritative and interesting, but something in his eyes was wounded and a part of her wanted to comfort him... wanted to lay his head on her chest and tell him to sleep until he felt safe again. Ugh! Maybe she took the wrong job. He was kind, but he hadn't really shown any romantic interest in her... what was she thinking?!

   I beleive that she will meet this mystery guy and that they will have a fairly long courtship and that they will fly away to exotic places and then get married and live happily ever after. I like to believe in good endings.
