From Ray Rice to Bruce Miller to Darren Sharper.  While I do not attempt to become judge and jury over guilt/innocence, I wonder what is going on in the NFL? Why is there such a high amount of violence carried out against women within the NFL compared to other sports franchises?
What are your thoughts on these incidents exposing domestic violence and sexual assault?
Is there something that happens within the NFL that condones, promotes, or diminishes the rights of women in some type of way?

Statistics reveal that Superbowl Sunday results in an increase in physical assaults against women. Why? What is it about the NFL players and fans that results in such a diminished value of women leading to sexual and physical violence against women?  What are your thoughts about violence and the NFL?

A little unclear as to what the graph is showing; does it mean that NFL players are arrested 38% as often as the general public (in their sex and age group) for sexual offenses?  Or only 13% (1/10th) as often for all offenses?

That would seem to be a good thing, not bad.
