Do you have a moment when your mind goes blank and you can't remember something that you should?

Yes, I can list several moments blank when I need something out of it.  My top two:  1) A friend's name when introducing them to another friend, and 2) going to look for or do something in a specific room and as soon as you get to the spot, fogetting what the world you went looking for in the 1st place.  I don't like the second moment, that happens almost everyday.

I think everyone has a moment like that. Like when you start a sentence and then forget what you were trying to say. And, the same thing happens to me, I go into a room looking for something and forget what I was looking for.
Unfortunately, I think this happens more the older you get smile

This happens to me all the time. The most embarassing time it happens is in the classroom. I teach ESL to Korean children every day and sometimes the kids just have me so confused all talking at once that I really don't know up from down, let alone the specific word that has the connotations I'm looking for. I also have been known to go somewhere, and once I arrive there, not immediately remember why I had gone there in the first place. Oh my... I tell myself, and anyone who's interested that it happens to everybody. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. smile

Yes, once in a while that happens to me. I think it´s normal, after a time i remember again.

Of course ! This is normal for a hard working human with lots of other stuff on their mind. This happens when I meet a really hot guy..."What' did you say your name was?", "Eh ugh uh um me ?"

Yes. I had a small stroke about 9 months ago and I frequently have memory loss.

When someone puts me on the spot, and asks me a question while I'm think about something totally different, I often have a moment where my mind goes blank. I feel bad when this happens though. Although this is true, I often find it to be one moment of the day where I feel at peace.
