What is the best way to handle the football playoff season and your man? Join them or ignore them?
Compromise, and do what you both feel comfortable with. It can't hurt to join him - even make it a group event with some of both your friends joining in. It can make for a fun day out or day in (if you're watching on TV). Then again, if there's times you'd prefer to be doing other things than watching football - make the most of it and go do your own thing, and just catch up with him afterwards!
Definetly join him. Make football something you can do together by watching the games, going to games, sports bars. He will love you for it.
