    My long-distance boyfriend broke up with me, any chance at getting him back?

    My boyfriend of around 3 years broke up with me last month via phone. We have lived in the same town the last 5 years and I just moved back home in August. However, There is a possibility for us to live in the same place again next year.I got depressed last fall and our relationship suffered due to it and I know it caused him a lot of distress. He has really cut me off since we broke up but we are supposed to get lunch or coffee next weekend when I come in town.  What would be the best thing to do when I see him? Do you even think it is a good idea for me to see him or try to contact him?

    Forget it long distance doesn't work. If you live together next year then maybe. Don't get depressed, do more exercise or something, I know depression happens, but being depressed makes others feel depressed and there's nothing worse than feeling depressed.
    Speak directly to him over coffee, find out where the relationship is going, if it flops. Excellent at least you know, have closure and can move on in life.

    Long distance relationships rarely work out,  you become insecure and things don't go as planned.  The chances of you getting back with your boyfriend are slim, and can be  stressful
