Yes, about a year and a half ago I made a decision which radically and permanently altered my entire life. I left my psychologically abusive husband of five years, moved back to my hometown, and shortly thereafter welcomed someone into my home whom I had met over the internet and never met in person until the day he flew in from Alaska when he moved here. It was obviously a huge jump, and one which had everyone around me terrified...but strangely, didn't worry me one bit...and turned out to be the best thing I ever did in my entire life. Before that, my major life decision was in dumping my dead-end, low-pay job that was, nonetheless, a steady paycheck and leaping out into the world of freelancing with only the slightest of toeholds to start on. That also turned out to be one of the best things I ever did, and the two decisions together have helped shape a life that I absolutely love.
In a world that has many problems, we are the problem solvers. For every problem, there is a solution. A solution must come from making a good decision, or making a good choice. When we are having a difficult time making a decision, it is because we do not understand all of the facts. In other words, we do not have a whole picture. The next step in evolution will be reliant on us making better decisions and choices. These evolutionary decisions will not come from lessons we have learned according physical value. Instead, we will be asked to expand how we learn and delve into higher realms of understanding. When decisions are made from this level of understanding, it is impossible to make a wrong decision. This is how I have learned to make better choices and decisions that benefit the whole, with loss to no one.
