I wrote this hub today ... it talks about the definition of love, and in particularly, the definition of being "in love". Hope it helps answer your question!
A strong positive feeling of look upon and friendliness.
We already understand the origin, the very basis of love is not limited to our emotional makeup. Thus, our ultimate definition of love cannot be relegated only toward those things which our emotions bring forth.
Its defined by the way that I express it, words cannot describe.....or maybe you can ask the one that I love! ciao
Vonda G. Nelson
The same way we define Spirit or God or Yahweh. Love is that connectedness that ties us to everything. Love is that deep seeded warmth within us and all other conscious beings. Love is what brings us all together on more than just a physical level. Love is the the most powerful force in existence, and is the base value of all of our existences. Love is the absence of fear, the polar opposite of fear... and sadly, love is not what we are living in today.
Love is a reciprocal relationship that disguises itself as an unconditional one.
Love is the emotion of strong affection and personal attachment.love is a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection.
In my view 'love' is a feeling which gives you deep emotional touch for somebody.. Love is a feeling which carries lot of sweetness, enjoyment and hope. Love is everything for those who value it. It gives energy, happiness and makes life beautiful and helps you in making your life purposeful. One can fell in love at first sight. You can start loving someone once you like activity of a person very much. When you are in love with somebody, you take utmost care of that person. Besides love with a human being or a member of your family, feeling of love can be for your country, home, game of your choice and certain other immovable things.
When I talk to a certain person I just feel different..more alive...a little excited ..happy. I think that is love for me.
From a spiritual perspective: God is Love
What it means to me personally is that whoever loves me knows all my good points and bad but accepts me anyway--just the way I am.
Love...... deep emotional feelings for someone and always try to keep in touch with him/her.
Love is what love is, and everything that come with it. I wrote a poem on it called, wait for it... 'Love is'. ha

It is not your job to condemn me because I disagree with you. It is not your job to hold me in disdain. It is not your job to change me, persuade me, or convert me. The heart of Christianity is being Christ-like. Christ...
