thats because you wont have to deal with it with her/him in the first place and sometimes you think when you say goodbye its the end of the line so might as well tell the person you're saying GOODBYE to why and whats the matter
We often do not understand the actual meaning and exact timing of using the word . ' Good bye' is a word which is only used by people when they know either they will be meeting the person after a long duration or the last time.It is also used when you do not wish to see the person in front of you and wish to end your conversation than and there without proceeding further.
