Bill has written an heartfelt article that I am sure all his fans want to read. It is excellent, of course.

      Hello Bill!
This was a heartfelt read, especially your association with Pixie and Frank.
I am so grateful to know you and I truly value your friendship. HubPages has given long lasting memories, for which I am thankful.
We will be in touch, always. Thank you so much.
Thanks Pamela, for sharing this in the forum.
My best wishes to both of you.

Chitrangada Sharan, one of my true regrets is that I will not be able to meet, in person, some of my best online friends, such as yourself. I would love to be able to sit with you, as friends do, and get to know you better.

        Thank you for your friendship!

      Thank you Pamela!
And to you Bill. What a great story of love, friendship, and connection, with a cherished pet, and a cherished old friend. Had me in tears. Shh..don’t tell anyone. A fond farewell to you.

    Hi Bill,

Your circle of friends has widened since the days of Pixie being your furry companion and friend.  Sorry for your loss of Frank, and may your best friend rest in peace.  I can feel the warmth of your memories in this post, and thank Pamela for sharing it.

Thank you, Pamela, for sharing this. Thank you Bill, for this beautiful article. Although I have followed you here on HP for years, I feel as if I am just lately getting to know you a bit, as there was a long period of time I didn't log on or even check my HP account. I regret that now, but as you said, we move on. Best of luck to you, and please do check in with us now and then. I'll watch for your posts on Facebook, too.

Maria, no regrets.  We are friends now and into the future, and that is a nice thought as this chilly day unfolds.  Thank you for your friendship, and I will catch you down the Road of Life sooner rather than later.

I know, Linda, but it is time.  We will stay in touch, and that is a blessing for sure, and if I ever really need a Linda fix, I know how to find your house. smile

I loved your article, Bill, saying goodbye from the front of your old porch. I liked also the reflections of those who you loved so much during your childhood: your Dad, Pixie and Frank who eventually you had to part with. Now here you are parting goodbyes with us for a better, prospective future. I wish you all the best on your new journey. Like I said before, you will be missed.

Thank you, Pamela, for sharing Bill's work with us.

Thank you so very much, Rosina!  I'm sure this is not goodbye, but just a slightly different direction in my literary travels.  I will still see you from time to time.

Thank you so much for creating this forum discussion, Pamela.

Mr. Bill, this is so heartfelt. Sir, I really don't have any words to express my emotions. I can just say that it's always hard to say Goodbye. I know it's equally hard for you as well. I wish you all the best smile

    Blessings always!!

Misbah, you have been a bright light on HP this past year, and it has been my honor to watch you grow as a writer and watch you flourish as a human being. Thank you for that.

      Blessings and love always

Bill - fitting, I suppose, that one of your last efforts on here would bring tears to this old man’s eyes.  Trite and cliche, perhaps, but true nevertheless.  It’s a happy story about beginnings and endings, and it marks this particular sad ending, so I guess that’s part of what moved me.  But also it’s true that my tears weren’t just sadness coming to the surface.  There is good in all that’s past, there is yet more good to come for you.  Look forward to hearing (perhaps in person, one day) about some paragraphs in your next chapter…so happy for you, my friend, even though we will miss you.  Best.  gmc

Greg, thank you! I think there are some tears worth shedding in all of us. I was reading this to Bev and I actually teared up, and I'm the one who wrote the damned thing. LOL  I really do appreciate your kind words, and I appreciate you.  You are a good man!

Wonderful tribute to Pixie and Frank.  I remember you writing about Frank a few years ago when he passed.  I’m sure he was a great friend to you and a wonderful human being, as are you.  And as far as our four-legged friends, they are the best.  Every kid should have a dog growing up.

Thanks Bill for this goodbye article. I enjoyed reading it. A very fitting tribute to your dear friend Frank and adorable pixie. Sad though we are that this series is going to end, we are nevertheless happy that we can look forward to reading many more  in your new website. I value your friendship and have learnt a lot from you. Glad that we will continue our interaction on Facebook. Wish you the very best in your future endeavours, dear friend. Stay blessed. Thanks Pamela for sharing.
