Best thing to do on a first date? Formal like a meal or going to the pub and getting hammered to...
break the ice?
On first date..candle light dinner is the best choice..though mostly it depend on the girl you go with......
A horror movie --- > candle light dinner ------> a long walk --------> Humble kiss when she is near to her doorstep.
dinner s always a good idea somewhere comfortable where you can hear what each other is saying.Pubs can be nice as long as you dont get hammered.
Depends on the couple and the circumstance.
If you're just meeting for the first time (ie. you met online and haven't talked on the phone):
- an atmosphere where you can talk would help vs being distracted by a movie.
- a public place so the woman feels safe
- tea/coffee so you can see if you like each other and want to spend more than 30-45 min. together.
A lunch or dinner date is best for a first date, going to the pub is something you would do with a friend, so if it's romance you have in mind go to a restaurant instead, but it doesn't have to be formal, a Cafe style lunch is fine, dinner might be a better choice if you want a more romantic date.
