when should one start an intimate relationship with a new partner?
That is a tough one. Are you asking if you should sleep with someone on the first date? If so, it depends on what you are feeling and what you want to make of this relationship. Whether it is something serious or just someone you can have fun with.
Only you would know if this person is relationship material or booty call status.
It depends on what you mean by intimacy...if you mean sexual intimacy, then not until the other four intimacies have been established. These are: intellectual intimacy, emotional intimacy, spiritual intimacy, and (non-sexual) physical intimacy.
