They are very important. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.
And many will not give you a chance to prove yourself. But if you realize you screwed up you should give it a try by talking to the other person as quickly as possible.
Fairly important, but better to get to know the person. Like the saying goes can't tell much from judging a book by its cover, you have to look inside and read it.
I think it really depends on what the impression is relating to in the process. If its a bad impression, under certain circumstances, it could be the last chance one has at what they are attempting....if its a date, that's one thing; if it's the job of a lifetime, then the consequences are far more serious. I think the best advice to apply is to treat every situation as if first impressions matter, if they don't, then you have really lost nothing in the process. WB

I am bit confused by seeing the ad report. It has a column for traffic no. and another is impressions. Both column shows different sums. What is that mean and are impressions adding in the final sum.
