I would define it as that deep feeling of pleasure for another person whose welfare you put before your own. It makes you happy to see them happy and you would rather they be healthy than yourself, or happy or content. You know you are in love when you would do battle for that person under any circumstances....you would do whatever it takes for them to be safe and happy.
At the moment, I really don't think I could answer that. I'm young and haven't had much experience in being in love. I'm also in a phase right now where I'm no sure of any of my emotions. So to begin to define love, I'd be lost. But when I figure it out I will let you know!
We all have our uncertainties in life; we all have our emotions on which we deal with too the best of our knowledge. It does not make you less of a person, but rather; one more thing too figure out.
