http://hubpages.com/hub/Human-weakness it not only sex it is destroying the world.... literally(
Yep. Turn on your TV, look at a billboard or pull up a page on the Internet. If Betty White is selling sex appeal at her age, you know someone decades younger can!
big time.sex is probably the single biggest selling factor on the market today.
Not effectively. The ad spot will get the attention and so will the beautiful bod, but no one will remember the product. :>)
of course it does. No wonder why pornography is rampant everywhere.
Not only sex but we sell ( our friends behind this ) our mind also. Now we are not humanbeing just like animals. Not mind , not thinking, not a soul not resposibility to society. I hate live in media surroundings. I want to say friends you don't encourrage this. A big dangerouse lose of moral side in here.
Does cooking bacon produce a enough fat to cook those eggs for breakfast?

Sure it does but it has its own lines of true effectiveness. Suggestions of sex and sexy are far better received by a broader marketing group than just all out sex which leaves nothing to the imagination. I guess you could say that is the line between sensuality and pornography in America. It's human nature. WB
Indeed it does. We have to realize what triggers men and woman's responses, and sexuality definitely intrigues both.
When I first joined HubPages seven months ago, I wrote a hub about this very idea, whether or not sex sells. I thought I would just post a link to that hub.... this is my response to whether or not sex sells; http://hubpages.com/hub/Morality-in-novels

Isn't prositution one of the oldest professions in the world over?
Should be legalised! & therefore making the world a safer place!!

Is a hot sex short story classified as Erotica or Pornography? What about the sins that a writer of such steamy stories tempt people to make? Isn't that something to consider before putting pen to paper?

Is something wrong here? Why can people watch, on public TV, decapitation, stabbings, brains being blown against walls by shotgun blasts etc., but, acting where actual copulation (insertion)is taking place, cannot?I'll bet no one will touch this1 It is not a "religiously correct" subject.

Do you think promiscuity and low self-esteem go hand in hand?I have seen many woman randomly give their most precious possession (their bodies) to anyone that would take it. I'm not one to police ANYONE'S sex life, but I can't understand why a woman would risk pregnancy, communicable diseases, and...

Okay, so here's the deal...We human beings don't seem to have much of a problem with violence in our entertainment. Books, Movies, Video Games, etc. all have featured violence, often lathered in bucket-loads of gore, and have done so without generating much hubbub about it.We have many films in...
