   It's been 41 years for us and people always say they don't know many people that have been married that long!

   This time I have been married about 15 months , my first time almost 23 years , My Aunt & Uncle have their 50th anniversary this year , Just reminded me that my Mum & Dad are getting close to 50 years married!

   thirty years this january and extremely scared since our second daughter is getting married  this month and i do not know whther shorn of the responsibilities and with loads of unstructured time how are we really going to cope

   Forty and half years.  Married at 19, still going strong.  It gets a little scary this far in--he's like my right arm--and at this age I begin to fear what it would be like if something happened to him.   Yes-- I am a glass is half empty kind of girl!!  :-)

   Five and half years and we were only given about six months that people thought our marriage would last.  We married within seven weeks of meeting each other.  My parents just a few months ago celebrated their fourtieth anniversary.  My mother's parents were married fifty plus years.

    Awesome people, it is wonderful to hear so many long lasting marriages. My husband and I just celebrated our 22nd anniversary yesterday. I plan on keeping him around forever. As my grandmother would say, "he's a keeper."

    This time 5 and a half years. I married the first time at 17 it lasted 8 years. It took me until my mid 40's to find my true love after numerous failed relationships. My parents were married over 40 years when my father died, and my mother never stopped grieving until her death this past January. To those who have been happily married to the same person all their lives are truly blessed. If I had to choose all the riches of the world or a loving life partner, I would choose the latter.

    Perfect question for me to answer today! I have been married for 2 years. Today is our anniversary. I hope we are married for as long as you, 41 years, congratulations. My parents are still together also, they are going on 38 years. I think it is very rare for people to stay married, it's quite sad. For me being married only 2 years, I can already see that it is a challenge, but you have to work together and you have to accept each others flaws and I think communication and compromise are the key ingredients.

    29 1/2 years.  There were times when it wasn't easy, but not for lack of love.  We both love each other very much and we will make it for life, no doubt.

    7 years - they say people are changing completely every 7 years and that was the case for my marriage - seems like we had changed in different directions.
    Still a great life lesson, something to bear in mind for the future, so I can say one day that I was 40 plus years in a relationship with another partner. Congratulations to you !

    I have been married 382 months as of this past 2nd.  My husband reminds me every month how long we have been married.  I guess when you are the best thing that has happened to someone, they like to remember it often!

    Happily married for 1434 days and still going strong. We both look out for each other, two Leo's - never a dull moment. Actually everyday that goes by we become even better friends.
