Do you think a relationship can "ruin" you for all relationships after that?
No, you cry and do the chocolate and bad movie thing.. When you are ready, pick yourself up and do it again. A relationship can only "ruin you" if you let it define you.
Only if you let it. When you fall off the horse, you have a choice to make. Either never ride again, or get right back up and try again. But, you might want to try a different horse, lol.
I should clarify a little more...Let's say you're in a long term relationship and that person gets caught lying to you many times and you don't think he is faithful. You do everything for him and give him whatever he wants, but he breaks up with you on a whim and then will get back together with you multiple times. Can this kind of treatment lead you to behave differently in future relationships because you were stomped on so much?
