Is Having Problems With Your Boyfriends Kids Something That Should Keep You From Getting Married?
iT ALL DEPENDS UPON WHETHER OR NOT YOU LIKE THE KIDS AND WHETHER OR NOT YOU AND THE KIDS GET ALONG. THEY AREN'T YOURS THEIR HIS.
What do the kids think? It depends how old they are, if you see it getting any better and if they live with him. You having problems with his kids will definately cause problems between you both. With them being his kids he is likely to take offense if you don't like them and his kids will always come before you (is that something you could deal with?). If you love him enough and vice versa, you will find a way. But you have to give those kids a second chance...start by being their friend and getting to know all their good traits. It's probably just as hard for them as it is for you. If they misbehave for you, try not to take it personally; it's not you who they're mad at, it's the situation they'll be frustrated with---usually a child misbehaving for a step parent is done to get the biological parents' attention. They will see you as a threat at first, but as time passes they will learn to accept you. I'm speaking as a mother of a child who isn't my husbands...It isn't always easy.
YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES Blood is thicker then water, if you have problem with your Boy friend's kids, you shouldn't get married.
