I met my wife at a small gathering of friends, she was a friend of a friend and we walked along the beach and talked for hours. It's always a great match when you marry your highschool sweetheart
After quite a few plain frogs, I met my prince charming, though it took me months to recognize love - thank goodness he stuck with me. When I finally fell in love, I let him sweep me off my feet and I'm still riding on his white horse, though enchanted forests and castles.
My husband and I met on xbox live while we were both still married. After we both separated from our respective spouses, we ended up meeting again on xbox live. A few months went by and I was so busy getting into a new apartment and filing for divorce I hadn't had a chance to get online because I didn't have internet yet at my apartment. Once I finally got it hooked up, I logged on to check my email, and not 30 seconds later he logged on. We started chatting again, and exchanged phone numbers. We would talk for hours! Now mind you, he lived in Minnesota at the time, and I lived in Florida, we had never met in person. About 1 1/2 months later, on December 17, 2004, he drove the 2,000 miles down to Florida to meet me. I had known long before this that he was my soul mate, and though it was dangerous looking back on it, I told him he could stay with me. He ended up moving in, and we've been together ever since. We had a little girl 5 years ago. Looking back on the story I'm sure most people think I'm insane for letting him move in the day I met him. But it was the right decision for us. We took a chance, and were rewarded with a love not many people get to experience in their lifetime.
I was introduced to this young man by a gal I worked with at the bank. I was 18, it was August of 1970. We must have hit it off pretty well, we married that Nov. and are still married 41 years later. Now that we are older and raised two children - I really live in fear of something happening to him. I can't imagine my life without him. We have always gotten along really well - wouldn't trade him!
He saw me out at dinner with friends, asked them for my number, called until I answered. To see what he wanted and we have been talking every since
In the early 1970s, my husband was a salesman who sent out a mass mailing. I received one of his mailings, responded, met with him on April Fools Day, and it was love at first site. We were married 5 1/2 months later, and have now been married over 40 years!
