in a two word answer time and ego. scheduling and credits.
Broken relationships occur in every category of rich and poor. Hollywood is no exception. However, people in Hollywood live on the front covers of magazines and we end up seeing their private lives spattered in images and headlines.
That said, I think that some relationships are just an attempt to stay on the front cover. There have been many Hollywood marriages over the years that didn't work and their marriage seemed like a fraud from the outset. I won't name anyone here but if you think about odd relationships and the brevity and the headlines, I think you may wonder how many of these were temporary conveniences for media attention.
Relationships break everywhere, Hollywood needs no special mention....
I'm not sure there is one answer. But I think there may be too many things competing for partners' attention and love is lost as the priority. It could be money, work, fame, and, of course, infidelity; but I think it's an issue of love lost. I too believe that it takes a strong integrity to weather the messages in Hollywood. Those of us not there know that because Hollywood is sending messages through the TV to us everyday.
Why do so many broken relationships, marriages occur all over America?
There is no courtship any more.
One person sees another person that causes a certain chemistry overload, lust, they don't take the time to find out if they even LIKE a person let alone love them before marriage.
Hollywood isn't any more special than the rest of the world. They put their pants on one leg at a time like the rest of us so why should their relationships last longer than the average person's?
