What is the proper way to decline an invitation to hang out with someone?
I always feel like I will offend someone if they ask me to do something with them, but I just feel like staying at home that day. How can I politely decline such an invitation without a very good excuse?
Just tell him or her you have prior commitments that you cannot go out with him elsewhere. But tell him or her in a nice manner so as to avoid hurt feelings and disgust.. good luck to you!
No one needs an excuse...You tell them exactly how you are feeling if they ask.
