Do husbands of stay at home moms think they don't have to help around the house becasue they 'work'?
My husband helps around the house. He knows taking care of a household of 7 is a lot of work. Some men may have the viewpoint you expressed, however. Thank God I didn't marry one!
My husband doesn't; he helps out a lot! For a short period though, I was working and he wasn't and he realised what it took to keep up a household. Before that he didn't help as much.
Now we both work and share the household duties quite equally.
We both have an understanding of what it's like to be on the other side.
i guess in reality you would have to ask each husband individually. for myself, i love helping my wife, it's her that hates when i help because i never seem to put things where they are supposed to go.
my husbands day ends when he clocks out from work..sometimes he comes home and takes a nap and wakes up for the dinner I made then will watch tv. then 9 oclock bed time and wonders why i am so tired. i dont have a time clock
