Chances are, until they saw or witnessed the infidelity for themselves; they probably wouldn't believe you. The well-intented urge to tell usually ends up causing more harm than good. My best friend caught her partner cheating and they are still together, so what could I possibly tell her that she doesn't already know?
Usually, the best friend gets mad at the person who brings the news. Unless you can prove it, you risk losing the friendship. So weigh the pros and cons before you decide.
It is a good time to take a photo and show your friend. They might be out with a relative, but at least they know you have their back.
