Someone who never talks about your interest or spend time with you.

I think what makes a selfish friend is someone who only wants their needs to be met through people, but never meet others needs. They are rarely available for you emotionally, physically or any other way. It is always about them.

It's like they suck the air out of you and once they're done, they're not available for you. Thanks for sharing.

A selfish friend values his/her needs, wants, interests, and desires above those that they call friend. Their selfishness is demonstrated by how they communicate with and treat their "friends".

A selfish person.  Be aware of who you let into your life. If you find many of your friends are selfish, and maybe use you, then think about your worth. Do you feel you are not worthy of being around elevated people.

I think a selfish friend is someone who constantly puts their wants and needs before that of their friends. They don't care what the other person wants or thinks, and would keep trying to shove their opinions down their throat.
Plus they wouldn't be very supportive and would constantly cry you down.

Selfish and friend do not go together, in my opinion.........

There are times when we have to retreat from communications with others for one reason or another..others may view this as selfishness, but I do not..

I will quote Richard Bach as this has always been my definition of friendship. It is independent of space and time for true friendship is of the heart...

“If our friendship depends on things like space and time, then when we finally overcome space and time, we've destroyed our own brotherhood! But overcome space, and all we have left is Here. Overcome time, and all we have left is Now. And in the middle of Here and Now, don't you think that we might see each other once or twice?”
― Richard Bach, Jonathan Livingston Seagull

A friend who is selfish is always inflexible with what he/she wants to do.  For example, there have been times that I only wanted to see movies that I desire.  I wasn't kind enough to just go ahead and watch a movie that only my friend wanted to see.
