   I have found my partner for life and even if I am my own person, it completed my life, as we are 'social animals' and the most of us prefers to live with someone than alone. We learn from each other, for our own mistakes and plan to grow old together. There are potholes in our journey filled with the quicksand of sorrow. Together we learn to navigate around them or haul ourselves out of the mire, but we know without them our life would lack balance and we would never truly be able to empathize with each other and those around us if we sail through life untested. We are not perfect, we just believe in honesty and commitment:)

   One who can speak my language.  I hate to surprise him EVERY time as to who I am because he doesn't understand me.
   But having come this far without my "better half" I can walk a little further alone rather than with someone who's never sure who I am.

   My ideal partner would be British pop singer Samantha Fox circa 1987, but since I don't have access to a time machine I guess I'll say my lovely wife is my ideal partner.

   It is the one I've married, though at times in the past I had been in doubt. By the way being in doubt and sticking to the relationship is part of a successfult marriage.
   
   these are the characteristics:
   1-makes you feel loved
   2-respects you
   3-relies on your opinion
   4-listens to what you say
   5-has humour
   6-helps out with the house work as far as he can
   7-loves nature
   8-is outgoing [now this is not a characteristic of my guy today due to his work, but part of being a couple is understanding the 'whys' and going around the little negativities]
