What is the number one thing you wish you knew before your wedding, but didn't?
To take some medication to calm me down beforehand. I always get stressed when being around extended family and it's not fun for me. So I spent most of the day worried about my family instead of enjoying the day.
Thank you, I can relate to that :-) I'm getting married and my fiance's family wants a big wedding, and I just want to go to court. I'd rather put my energy into something fun, like planning a honeymoon, rather than a wedding party for random people
Exactly! Also, his father's side of the family frightens even him. Plus, the honeymoon is fun to plan. By the time David and I had started talking about the honeymoon, we had six locations already picked. It took us a month to narrow it down to one!
How so very dishonest my future wife was. If you don't have honesty in a relationship, you have nothing.
I wished that I had known I was being taken for a ride and played like a fool. I wish that I had known that she never honors her promises and only lives to please herself. I wish that I would have known that she would be the kind of woman who leaves her husband and three tiny children for her boss. I wish that I would have known that she is a compulsive liar, infidel and antagonist.
Thank you for your remarkable honesty. I sympathize with you and I wish you well. We only end up with people we're supposed to end up with.
No, Love...sometimes we force the issue, ignore the red flags and put our heads down and run with it - to a disasterous end. For my stupidity...I deserved it all, but my lovely children did not.
The wedding is just one day. Marriage is hard and takes work.
That if you have to ask this question, then the wedding march is not right for you. Nothing is perfect. No one is perfect. Even the best of times has it moments of trials, nothing is perfect. Predict the future my living one day at a time in good faith and with love.

If and individual has had three failed marriages wouldn't a fourth marriage seem insignifigant? How many times should people get married in a lifetime anyway? I think after a couple tries that is enough. I'm not judging anyone. Just curious about others opinions about this.
