Yes, a morally right (righteous) man is going to have a longer happier marriage than a man who runs around telling lies and cheating (no morals). If you mean righteous in the religious way, it makes zero difference. As morals are morals and are no different because one lives a life devoted to a God.

      Amen! :-) Ecclesiastes 7:20
"For  there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not" One does not have to belong to a church to know right from wrong. By the way 66% of all divorces are initially filed by (women). hmmmm

I have known several righteous men and women both ( if you mean spiritual and religious )  who have longevity in their marriages averaging about 20 plus years. My guess why the marriages lasted longer than those who are not as spiritual or more religious is that they tend to be more understanding and patient to each other. From what I have seen , this tends to be the norm from these group of people. Some have been divorced or separated but the union lasted long before the dissolution of the marriage or relationship.

There was bigger stigma towards divorce 20 years ago and prior. Another factor is some people choose to wait until kids have grown up. Others avoid being a divorced statistic but live together as roommates for the most part. Quality VS Quanity years

Not necessarily because it takes (two people) who share the same values and want the same things for the marriage in order to experience joy and peace of mind. The number one cause for divorce is and always has been "selecting the wrong mate." It is not uncommon for a "righteous" man or woman to choose to marry someone who is different from themselves. Selecting the (right mate) for yourself is more important than one person being "righteous".
Couples who are "in love" and (naturally agree) on the major things in life tend to stay together longer and have happier marriages. One man's opinion! :-)
