Not Lying lol.. Even though we think lying might be for a persons benefit, in the long run it will only make a situation harder and hurt a person more. We should always try to be truthful and if you do not want to tell the truth then do not say anything at all. Most people who lie get caught. Why? Because to cover a lie, you usually need more lies and lies to cover those lies and it just becomes so many lies that the person lying forgets their lies and gets caught. Short version. Don't lie. : )

Probably the best way would be to lie to a really stupid person I guess.

Another good way would be to laugh and say:  "You know what;  everything I told you before was a lie! "

Of course they wouldn't believe you and that would cover your previous lies.

BTW:  What's the deal with the lying?

Although you should avoid lying; if you must, you will have to convince yourself (somehow) that you are not really lying. I know it sounds absurd; however, it would be the best defence against detection...

It depends, does the liar ever want to be a person of dignity and integrity?  Lying is reprehensible. The liar should confess and mend his or her ways.

Lying is bad enough, then lying more to cover it up or hide it?  No thanks.  I can abide a lot of things but never lying.  I hope this is just a general question and not your situation.

There really is NO hiding. The best approach is  to fess up and ask for forgiveness or dig a hole and bury yourself. Best policy: be truthful!

There is no 'best way' to hide lying. It will be known eventually, so my advise, don't do it. How would you feel if someone was hiding their lies from you? If you have already lied to someone, tell the truth, and maybe you will be forgiven. If not, hopefully you will learn from your mistakes..

If you really wanna hide lying... maybe the best way is to be prepared for any situations that others would be questioning you regarding the truth of your lie. By knowing and being prepared what others will ask, at least your response will be more natural, as if you are telling the truth. Of course, when you have prepared answers, they tend to be more logical. You have more confidence in them as well. Also, just answer their questions and do not overdo that. Providing more than enough only expresses your panic, more precisely your desperate need to show that 'you are not hiding something'. Be consistent. Similar answers must go out to everyone. Don't take chances. If you really are into this, then you should also try learning about body language so that you can manipulate them to your advantage.
