When do you draw the line?
When you are in an uncomfortable situation, when do you draw the line in the sand? If the risk is a relationship being lost vs. someone else's well-being, how do you make you position known without being offensive?
If you're uncomfortable then say so and tell the other person you wish them the best as you exit. Life is a personal journey and everyone gets to decide how (they) want to live. You're entitled to have your own feelings, opinions, and "deal breakers".
If you have to change your (core) being to be loved or accepted by someone then you are with the wrong person. By the same token you should not expect anyone to make wholesale changes in order to be with you either.
Like attracts like and ultimately everyone is looking for someone who (naturally agrees) with them.
My line is always glowing, even in the dark. If you are uncomfortable and the other person knows it but hasn't done anything to change the situation, leave. They obviously don't care about you're well-being either. And sometimes a relationship being lost is not such a bad thing. There are plenty of fish in the sea.
very true, just harder when its you're family.
