What advice would you give a divorced, single mom for a first date?

How does dating work in this century?  What are the dos and don'ts?  What not to do if you want them to ask you out again?  I made a huge step and asked a guy out I felt was out of my league because everyone keeps saying that those are the guys that I always back away from because I think I am not good enough but I am..so I did it.  Been divorced twice, never been on a real date, and haven't even "seen" a guy in any other capacity other than friendship for two years.  Any advice would be wonderful.

    Be yourself and have fun!
Seriously that is what a first date (should) be about. Enjoy the meal, movie, or event. Talk about favorite things you enjoy and so forth. Too often people put so much pressure on themselves worrying about "impressing" someone that they forget to be themselves. This is why it take so long to see a person for who they really are. Relax and encourage your date to relax.
No one is asking either of you to decide whether to cut the red wire or the blue wire. It's just a date! Have fun! Below are a couple of hubs I wrote that may help. Best of luck!

I haven't ever been on a real one lol.  I actually don't feel any pressure anymore and you are right too much emphasis on trying to impress someone but I just plan on being myself and having fun.  its all about being ourselves

Relax. Be yourself. Take it slow. Get to know one another.
