What do you do when you feel distant from the one you love?
Lately I feel disconnected from him, and I want advice on to how I can make things better..
You have to figure out (why) you feel distant. Did something major happen recently? Has it been a slow gradual pulling away? Is it really about (him)? Or Are you just unhappy with (your life) in general? In your heart of hearts do you (really) feel he is "the one" you want to grow old and die with?
These are just a few of the questions you have to ask yourself to uncover why you are feeling the way you do. In my book: My Cat Won't Bark! (A Relationship Epiphany) I stated:
"There only two ways to experience joy and peace of mind in relationships: we either get what we want or we learn to be happy with what we have."
Don't expect your mate to change. Everyone wants to be loved and appreciated for who they (are). Only you know if what you are feeling is about (him) or about (you). Best of luck!
