In an argument, whose side would you take, wife or your mother?
One leaves their parents when they marry and the husband and wife should always stand united. If the wife is being unreasonable, the husband and wife can discuss later when they are alone...but in front of other people the two much stand as one.
Depends on who's right. I won't back either but I'll point out the flaws in both their arguments if I'm asked.
It depends on who I think is right. I don't believe in "blind loyalty" That's one of the reasons nothing is getting done in Washington D.C. these days.
I honestly believe if you have the courage to say what you believe to be right whether it's your mother or your wife, eventually both of them will view you with (respect) as someone who does not simply take sides but rather calls it like you see it. Honesty and integrity are very important to me.
