Do you prefer traditional wedding vows or your own and why?

Since I was so very young when I married and we were both very shy then ... we just went with the traditional wedding vows.  However, I am always moved to tears when I hear the vows that each one has written for the other, so beautiful.  So what do you prefer, traditional or your own and why?  Thanks for answering.

I'm a traditional girl when it comes to marriage vows.  I was married in front of a judge on a Tuesday morning, almost spur of the moment. We wanted to elope to Las Vegas and had $11 between we found a cheap apartment on the weekend. It was 1970 so he stayed in the apt., me at my house and my aunt and uncle drove us to the Judge in Malibu, Calif. on that Tuesday morning.

It took!  That was 43 years ago next month!  So I'll stick with traditional.

Sounds like how I was married many years ago.

I want to get married again soon, I want my wedding that sticks in my head

In the forest with the trees overlapping and feathers in my hair and trees.

I have it all planned. I want a simple down to earth wedding soon.
