How came some people fall in love only in months are they selfish""" for my opinion  they're selfish

They're selfish because they don't have a heart they don't know the meaning of love and carying  if they know all this things I don't think they would fall in love with five or six different person in a year I Petty for the victims because I have met several I always ask them why if I ask them the reply I got back is they like change if you know you can't stay in a relationship more then year then don't shows to much don't let the person think that is forever because at the end he/she would end up surfing and you to would end up enjoying with another person..I call them selfish people!!!!!!!!!

Many people are in love with the thought of being in love, so they try way to hard. They don't care who it's with because they are desperate. People will lower their standards just to be "in love" but it won't last.

I agree, I've seen this happen many, many times and a lot of us are guilty of this when we are younger especially.

It's normal for every relationship to begin with an "infatuation phase". This is when both people are bending over backwards to impress one another. Making each other happy is their priority. The word "no" is seldom if ever used. Whatever one person wants to do the other also wants to do. Laughter come easily and sex is passionate.
It is at this point that many people believe they have met their "soul-mate". Generally speaking the more experience we have with relationships the more wise we become and therefore understand that those initial 8-12 weeks of "perfection" is the "infatuation phase". We really don't reveal our "authentic selves" until after we've had some disagreements,
Having said that there are some people who really (believe) they are "in love" every time they start dating someone. They're hoping (this time) it's the "real thing". I would not call these people "selfish" but likely emotionally immature or desperate to be in a loving relationship so much that they're not willing to invest the required amount of time needed to truly get to know someone before becoming "emotionally invested". These people  oftentimes experience heartaches and disappointments over and over again. However they blame the people they chose to date for hurting them instead of taking responsibility for giving away their trust too early on.

I agree with you they want their partners to feel needed for a certain amount of time and  once their needs are fulfilled  they are quite happy about it. Selfish people only think of themselves.

I read this and I am not really sure what you are saying.  I fell in love with and married my husband after only knowing him just over 3 months. We have been married 43 years.
