Because their not in love in the first place, i mean could/would you really cheat on someone you really loved?.
I know plenty of peeps that thought they was in love, only it was just their ego minds in love with the idea of being in love.
Love is felt through our hearts, and not thought with our minds.
So the vast majority of peeps i know don't wait to find love, and they let their ego mind force them to find someone quick.
No one wants to go to a party on their own etc, and it is nice to be in a relationship with someone, also it's very handy!.
So true love like i say is a very powerful feeling, and true love will always conquer the ego mind.
So if someone cheats they was either not in love, or they've let their ego mind gain control over them, by falling out of love with their partner.
Either way i still say you can't cheat on someone who you really love, but that's only from my own perspective obviously. :-)

The goal of any cheater is to hold onto all that is good in their primary relationship while addressing their other needs on the side.
Those "needs" will vary from person to person. For some it's the simple joy that comes with getting something "new" or variety, for others it may be feeling neglected, taken for granted, or unappreciated at home, no longer being made to feel "special", lack of sexual satisfaction, or they are bored with life in general. Oftentimes they lie to themselves by starting a "secret friendship" and saying; "Just because I'm married or in a relationship does not mean I can't have (friends)."  Eventually they're sharing secrets or complaining about what is missing in their relationship and the (new) person is sympathetic/understanding. Eventually they feel as though they have something "special" between them and as they say; "one thing leads to another." If they're ever caught they will claim: "I never (meant) to hurt you."
Clearly there is no such thing as "accidental sex" or lying so therefore what they're really saying is "I never thought you would find out!"
No cheater is looking to go through a breakup or divorce. They have no interest in replacing one relationship with another. They are trying get everything they want instead of settling for what one person may be able to offer them.
The 80/20 rule states at best you are only going to get 80% of what you desire from one person. The cheater insists on getting that other 20% from someone else then. No cheater expects to be caught! He or she believes they can have it all. Naturally if they do get caught it may cost them big time.
There are only two ways to experience joy and peace of mind in relationships: we either get what we want or we learn to be happy with what we have.

People cheat for their own reason the kind that satisfies their needs somehow they are missing something at home from their wives or girlfriends or husbands or boyfriends. Cheaters want to impress their friends or  to try something new.
