Can a polyamorous relationship really work?
Can you trust wholeheartedly two people the way you would trust just one in a conventional relationship?
I believe this depends entirely on the individuals involved. It is entirely possible, although the more variables you add into the equation the higher the chance of a breakdown becomes.
You have THREE people whose needs have to be balanced rather than just two, and it can be hard enough with two!
Perhaps, but it would take incredibly mature and relationally enlightened people to do so, and finding just two people who have that is very rare indeed. Once two people achieve optimum intimacy balance (which can take decades), they likely would not desire to be polyamorous. Add to this cultural context and coupling tradition pressures, and the odds go down even further.
For me personally, I don't think it would work, for various reasons.
But I do know people for whom it does work. As long as all people in the relationship are equals, and work within the rules of the relationship, then they usually work.
jl, I think I'm falling in love with you, or at least, would really enjoy a long, leisurely, conversational dinner with a good wine
Krillco - aside from the wine - that dinner and conversation sounds like fun!

I have seen so many cases where women are being taken advantage of because of their faithfulness and sincerity to their men. I have seen how much women love their men and men turn around paying them in a bad coin by cheating, because from my research I see the level at which men cheats is far...

Is the physical appearence the only thing that really matters? Is the physical appearence the only thing that really matters? If not, which one of you would wholeheartedly choose an ugly partner to have a relationship?

I loved reading about your dream. I don't believe in short cuts to enlightenment. I really do...believe that for many people we have entered a new era of potential spiritual awakening. Like you mentioned---we are in a birth phase. I don't think all of the expression we see...
