hello, over the course of two years i have gone through my first marriage and divorece. not that my vows didn't mean anything they did. he just turned out to be abusive to my kids which to me is crossing the line just as bad as cheating. so i took the kids and left and filed for divorce. i know some day i may find mr. right. i don't believe every marriage is doomed. there are some that find the right one and are married for years well into retirement. then there are the ones who don't and unfortunately there marriage fails and ends in divorce.
I agree as well! I actually wrote a hub about that one time as an answer to someone's question "How to Reduce the Divorce Rate". I eventually deleted the hub, but that was my angle....get rid of marriages! Who needs them? They cause more harm than good and cost a fortune!
I have no plans to get married anytime soon. However, my friends who actually got married are frustrated because their wives are not that interested in bedroom activities any more.
Likewise, if this happened to me I may eventually resort to affairs which is against marriage vows.
Married life is very frustrating. In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens. In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens. In the third year, they both speak and the neighbors listen.

Marriages hit rough spots, sometimes long ones too. Put two separate individuals in an intimate relationship and arguments/fights are normal, eventually, even if the love is still strong. The frequency of arguments may increase gradually, or the length of arguments will increase. A person...

Do you believe the sovereignty of the United States is being eroded - diminished?I see my beloved country, the United States, eroding and being diminished. What disgusts me the most is that some of our own people are deeply involved in doing this. Can we come back from this? I'm not so sure. Why is...
