Is it possible that a one you loved before becomes your friend ?
If you loved someone some years ago and the story ended without success, now you talked again as just friends ... is it possible that you both forget what happened and become good friends.
Yes, but each have their own feelings, definition(s), and beliefs what 'Love' is. Those that I had a relationship break up with I did not feel I stopped loving them. But, again, that is because of my beliefs what 'Love' is.
I think there is a 'big' difference between 'falling in Love' and being 'in Love'.
I read C.S. Lewis's book 'The Four Loves' early in life. It is from a Christian perspective. It firstly discusses need-love and gift-love. It shares there are Four types of Love. The meanings come from the Greek language and four different words for Love and their meanings. It may be best to peek online to grasp those as concepts.
