Mom wants to make her son undergo a sex change against his will

   According to this one guy I follow on youtube, it's been reported that supposedly a mom wants her six year old son to undergo the process of transitioning into a girl, even though the boy does NOT want to dress like a girl.  The father has disputed this against the mother, but he is being labeled as abusive for doing so.  here's a link to the video if you guys want to watch for yourselves, as im personally appalled by it if it's true.

   Assuming you saw the video, my only thoughts about this matter is this.  You all can call me a homophobe or transphobe or whatever. I don't care.  In my opinion, if you're an adult that's at least 18 or older, and you want to transition into a different gender that you feel you identify more as, then knock yourself out. 
   
   But for a parent to do that to their underage child that's not even 18 yet?  Let alone one that's 6 or younger?  That's just wrong on several levels.  I'm sorry but it is, and it's sick.  Look most children don't even know what the hell they want when they're in high school.  Let alone when they're 10, 13, 12, 5,  6 or younger.  Seriously, the fact that some parents in America are doing this crap to their child when they're not even old enough to vote yet is beyond sick and stupid. 
   
   Let them grow up and be freaking kids.  Let them grow up and figure out what they want to do and be growing up.  And once they're 18 and want to be a different gender, then fine. Support their decision, but don't force it upon them at an early age just because it's something you want.   Seriously, this is just child abuse in my mind.  I don't mind transgender people at all in most cases.  In fact, one of my best friends is a transgender woman, and I fully endorse his transition as well.  But the thing is he's an adult in his mid twenties.  That's the key difference here.  The fact that parents these days feel they have the right to dictate a child's gender before they can even count to two is beyond disgusting.   Seriously, I consider myself a very open minded person when it comes to people, but even I'm freaked out by this crap.

      I read an article the other day where a leading doctor from a prominent university warned against even allowing children to change sex. He said it was a social experiment, abusing children.
      
      As to the woman in the OP. She apparently didn't have enough barbies to play with as a child. Her mental instability is not reason to abuse a child.

         I couldn't agree more.   Honestly some people shouldn't even have kids and this mother is one of them apparently.
