Aries Woman and Pisces Man

Updated on March 26, 2011

I'm sure there are some exceptions to this rule, but generally speaking the Aries woman and Pisces man go together about as well as their fire and water natures would imply. It's not the worst match in the world, but it's down near the bottom of the list, for sure. It's not that there isn't an attraction between the two; there certainly can be. And it can be very strong, both physically and mentally. But the communication styles of these two individuals are typically in direct conflict with one another that it makes having a lasting, meaningful relationship next to impossible. This is a classic case of role reversal, with the Aries woman becoming the dominant, masculine partner and the Pisces man becoming the submissive feminine aspect. This may or may not be an issue for the Pisces man, but it will drive the Aries woman straight up the wall.

Aries Woman

Aries woman is fire, plain and simple. She's brash, she's headstrong, she makes her mind up instantly, she's full of life, energy and opinions. And she is driven mad by anyone who fusses about too long with any of these things, as the Pisces man is apt to do. His quiet nature can make her want to drag him outdoors and show him the world. His introverted nature makes her want to protect him but also makes it hard to respect him as a man when he doesn't stand up for himself. She will view many of his character traits as weaknesses and these things will make it difficult to stay physically attracted to him, because once an Aries woman loses respect for you, it's almost impossible for her to get it back. Also, Pisces man is a little too sweet and gentle in the bedroom for Aries woman's tastes and she will often feel unfulfilled when the lights are turned off.

Pisces Man

The Pisces man is a gentle soul. He's intuitive and perceptive, qualities which strongly appeal to the Aries woman. Like most men he will be drawn to the Aries woman's vulnerability that he sees beneath the armor, but when he realizes she's never going to full remove that armor, no matter what he does, he may feel hurt and take it as a sign the relationship isn't meant to be. Additionally, he tends to avoid direct arguments and conflict, which the Aries woman can often thrive on -- and when he walks away from these, she can take it to mean he's walking away from her, which could lead to World War III. But if the Pisces man is clever about subduing her and diffusing her famous temper, he might actually be able to tame her.
